After deliberating about buying a classic car preferably something sporty and able to halt my mid life crisis I happened upon David Brewster's excellent company.
It is appropriate to say how this occurred. Last summer I order a new Mazda 6 and because of the specification Mazda were unable to deliver when they promised. I was delighted when they suggested that I might like to borrow one of their brand new MX5's. Well after three weeks, when my new car was finally cleared through Sheerness Docks, I had to hand over the MX5 and very reluctantly did so.
The summer came and went and my hunger for an open top sports classic did not abate. The hunt was on. This proved to be frustrating and hopeless. Then one day I stumbled across Dandycars.com. I wouldn't like to say what I was searching for but the cars available through Dandycars had very much the same effect!
I found a beautiful BRG Eunos Roadster in excellent condition in David's keep. As I was now getting proficient at this internet lark I emailed David and asked him to reserve the car for me. I arranged to view the vehicle and found both David and the car to be in good nick.
I was impressed and have remained so, with the unhurried, laid back, try any car ethos at Dandycars. After an unaccompanied test drive I struck a deal with David. Well this is not strictly true as David had priced the car very competitively and it happened to be affordable. I offered the full price was pleased to do so.
David asked me to consider various extra bits and bobs to enhance the car and I couldn't help myself. However left alone I might have spoilt a very pretty car, so David offered me some excellent advice and really help me to visualise the finished product.
I arranged to collect the car on 1st April (I'm not joking) and when I arrived my car was beautifully prepared and ready for the drive home. David and his team had excelled themselves. They were true to their word and went that extra mile for a very fussy customer (sorry about that David).
Here I am 4 weeks later still finding that my car produces the same effect as that website I very nearly plugged into!
I have recaptured a bit of my youth, my children talk to me again and occasionally they will now be seen out with me. I owe all this to David and Dandycars.
If you are reading this then you really have found an excellent source of quality roadsters from a thoroughly efficient and caring bloke.
I know this purchase from David will not be the last.
