"It was our 25th wedding anniversary, we wanted something different and, if you like, to indulge ourselves. In taking a birthday card to a friend we found the he had bought an imported Japanese Honda Prelude, upon inspection we found a car of superior specification to that of the UK and for a 7 year old car it was immaculate. We started to look at imported cars and were immediately taken with the Eunos Roadster but had never heard of it!! The cars we saw were nice to look at and investigations uncovered it as an MX5. One problem remained, our interpretation of very good, excellent and superb differed greatly with those in the car trade, and in fact some of the cars were tatty."

"We became a little frustrated because we had always wanted a sports car, this was to be a second car, and decided to look at the UK version both second hand and new. None of the second hand car appealed, so, off to the new ones. The spec was standard and for a time we looked at the Irish imports, (with only a one year guarantee on a brand new car), due mainly to an improved spec and a lower price than the established Mazda dealers."

"At this point we went onto the Internet and typed in the immortal words: MAZDA MX5"

"The response we got was simply amazing, hundreds of entries from all over the world, spares, clubs, dealers, it was all very exciting. The MX5 was named Eunos Roadster in Japan, Miata in America and Australia. We started to go through each of the sites one by one and found: www.dandycars.com"

"We entered the site and found what we thought we were looking for, but descriptions can vary so we remained sceptacle. As we went through all the items in the stock list we were thrilled to find exactly what we wanted, colour wise and it would seem, quality wise. We went through every piece of the web site and, to be honest, could not believe what we saw. "

"We slept on it and 24 hours later phoned David Brewster."

"Within ten minutes he reserved the car for us, reserved because it was still on the high seas. We were still talking about twenty minutes later, strangely, our wives did the same job, we were the same age and other similarities. We found a person who was not so much a salesman as an enthusiast. David explained that he would give the car a thorough examination when it arrived and give us a call on the mobile with an honest description. He woke us up in Prague about four weeks later full of enthusiasm, the car was a 'minter'. We promised to visit and inspect as soon as we got back to the UK."

"One of the first things we did on arrival was to check out the insurance implications, bang, no one seemed to be interested in imported vehicles, back to the Dandycars web site, a chat to David on the telephone and try again, bingo, the first company he suggested came up with a reasonable quote. We made arrangements to go and see the car. David's directions were brilliant and we arrived at his house for a chat and cup of tea!"

"We went to his storage facility and as soon as we set our eyes on the car we fell in love, his description was accurate to the enth degree, full red/maroon leather, electric windows, abs, a/c, cd/radio cassette, headrest speakers, power steering. All this surrounded by a dark pearlescent blue body and lovely BBS alloys, walnut steering wheel/gear knob/handbrake, all 'MINTER'. The car was six years old and had done a genuine 28,000 miles, we promised an answer in 24 hours because we like to sleep on things."

"Inside 24 hours it was ours."

"David could have sold the car many times over but kept his promise of the reserve. He fitted a brand new hood of much lighter blue, which looks fabulous, he even fitted a heated rear windscreen at our request. We took his advice and had a wind deflector and immobilser fitted, which as usual was good advice. When the formalities were completed, (registration etc.), we traveled to London by train, then tubed it to the nearest station to his storage facility where he collected us in his wife's car, he drives a Roadster. The drive home to Bristol was simply exhilarating."

"Why 'our beautiful baby', our other car is a Chrysler Grand Voyager!!"

"We have never bothered to write anything like this before because we have never received the close personal attention that David has given us. His attention to detail, general communication, honesty and integrity were magnificent. When he fitted the walnut gear knob he sent us a picture on the net explaining that it wasn't a perfect match, did we mind, if we did he would change it! We also received pictures when the new hood was fitted. Anyone can understand why a good percentage of his business is repeat business and recommendation, and, he only sells one car, The Eunos Roadster, many thanks David."

"With best personal regards from happy customers"
