We have a customer that's been waiting around 6 months for a Mk3 automatic coupe in stormy blue, green, red or white with black leather interior. Due to difficulties in sourcing this spec in Japan (especially green, which isn't a factory colour option) he has decided to buy the silver one we have in stock - with a difference.
His good lady wife already has a silver Mk2 automatic but really did not take to the tan leather interior. So we offered him the option of a completely bespoke exterior and interior colour change. This brand new silver automatic coupe is currently being colour changed to British Racing Green (actually, grace green metallic, the Mk2 green colour) and the interior is also being reupholstered into beige leather. Colour to be changed to Grace Green Metallic Interior to be changed to beige leather This is obviously a fairly large project for us made all the more difficult as it is a brand new car. This car is likely to be one of the only green Mk3's in existence, making it a very very rare car indeed.
Keep an eye on the blog for pictures when we are fitting the car back up.
