I've been wanting to do this for a while. I have a huge archive of pictures of nearly every single car dandycars.com has ever sold/imported in the 'MX5 Picture Gallery'. It's a huge job!
I've been adding pictures of the old stock to the website and I've added nearly 300 MX5s, which is about 1/3 of the total. I estimate I will have approximately 900 MX5s on the website when I'm finished and, of course, this number will only grow.
Doing something of this scale has meant I have had to quadruple the amount of webspace I need, up to 2GB (to take into account all the extra pics I will be adding).
Some of the pictures aren't great. They are either low-res or the original ones of when the car was in the Japanese auction. What may be interesting though, if you already own an MX5, is that it stands a good chance of having passed through our doors! To check, take the last 6 digits of the chassis number (regardless of the country of origin) and see if it appears on the 'Previously Sold Cars' list. If it's not on there it's quite possible a car near it on the production line was!
I hope you people like this. It is taking me forever!
