So you've decided to come to see us here at Dandycars.com? This is the first step to owning your dream car! To make your journey to come to see us as painless as possible I've tried to sort out all the various methods of travel into different sections. It is not uncommon for people to fly down to see us from Scotland or Europe to see a car, but most people do tend to drive or take the train. Whatever is easiest and most convenient for yourselves. Please see below for detailed instructions...

How do you intend to travel to see us?
By Air:
Nearest airport is London City airport. Use the DLR (Docklands Light Railway) to get to Canning town, change to the Jubilee line Northbound to Stratford and then get the Central Line Eastbound (Hainault/Newbury Park branch) to Gants Hill. To see a tube map please click here. Stanstead airport is also quite close (about 40 minutes drive). From here you will need to get the Stanstead Express to Liverpool Street station. From here follow directions below for getting here via the tube (Central Line).
By Train/Tube - Gants Hill (Central Line Tube):
Liverpool Street is the easiest connecting station to get to us. Failing that King's Cross, Euston or Victoria if you are travelling into London. You should then get the Central Line (the red coloured one) Eastbound to Gants Hill station. Be sure to get the Hainault or Newbury Park branch line (NOT the 'Epping' or 'Loughton' one).
Once you get to Gants Hill take the leftmost exit at the top of the escalator, do another left and go up the stairs to the exit that says 'Eastern Avenue (South Side)'. You should come out in front of a Vauxhall dealership called 'Crown'. Walk about 400m down the same side of the road away from the roundabout and we are at the next set of traffic lights on the other side of the road. For a map of where we are please click here. By Car:
We all know London can be a nightmare to navigate, especially if you're not used to the place! We recommend printing out these instructions and coming well prepared with maps and a route planned (most of which you can get via the Internet, read on for more!). So where are you coming from?
Inside London (within M25, North of the River) For a map of where we are please click here. The best thing to do is to find the North Circular Road (A406) and try to find us from there. We are on the A12 (Eastern Avenue) east from the A406 at the 'Redbridge Roundabout' junction. Once you join the A12 Eastbound from the A406 we are on the right hand side next to the 3rd set of traffic lights on the corner with Beehive Lane. Please see below for a simple map.
Inside London (within M25, South of the River) For a map of where we are please click here. The best thing to do is to get to the Northern side of London by going through the Blackwall Tunnel. Once through the tunnel follow all signs to the A12 Eastbound (it's basically straight ahead for about 9 miles). Once you reach the A406 North Circular Road stay on the A12 Eastbound (Eastern Avenue). We are on the right hand side next to the 2nd set of traffic lights on the corner with Beehive Lane. Please see below for a simple map.
Outside London (South) The easiest way to find us is to get yourself onto the M25. As we are on the Eastern side of London head for the A2 (about 1 junction away from the Dartford Tunnel) signposted for the Blackwall Tunnel. Follow directions the whole way to the Blackwall Tunnel and go through it so you are on the North side of the river. Then follow signs for about 9 miles to the A12 (Eastbound). As soon as you reach the junction with the A406 (called the 'Redbridge Roundabout') it's time to pay attention! Go straight over the roundabout and keep following the A12 Eastbound (it is now called the Eastern Avenue). We are on the right hand side next to the 3rd set of traffic lights on the corner with Beehive Lane. Please see below for a simple map.
Outside London (North) The easiest way to find us is to get yourself onto the M25. As we are on the Eastern side of London head for the M11 and follow it into London (Southbound). At the bottom of the M11 (just after the speed camera) the road splits to join the A406. You will need to take the left (Eastbound) fork. Almost immediately after joining the A406 Eastbound you will need to come off at the first junction (signposted for the A12 and called the 'Redbridge Roundabout'). Take the 2nd left (A12 Eastbound). We are on the right hand side next to the 3rd set of traffic lights on the corner with Beehive Lane. Please see below for a simple map.
